Blooming by the Roadside

Found this beautiful flower blooming on a bush as I was walking home from signing out at school. (Sad day... ish.) After a bit of research, I found out that it's a wild rose. The shape reminds me of cherry blossoms, but the stems are a woody material that was very hard to break and had thorns all along it. Took a while to get this stubborn little guy off, and it pricked me in the process. So worth it though - it's a beauty sitting on my desk. Brings that little bit more sunshine to my day.
