Restaurant Review: Ask
Today is catch-up day as regards blogging; I've got 3 restaurant reviews to cover. So here goes the first one.
About a month ago, for Mother's Day, we went to the Centre in Livingston (the only location near us that has nice places to eat) to an Italian restaurant called Ask. Inside, it was spacious, and well-decorated. I especially liked how the bar looked.
Okay, restaurant rating time. (A new system I've invented.) Everything's done out of 5.
Atmosphere: ☆☆☆
Food: ☆☆☆☆
Service: ☆
Overall, it was good food, a nice place to eat in, etc. However, they were extremely slow in serving the food. Prices were slightly on the expensive side. However, the food (in my opinion) made up for the slow service. The caesar salad was especially good, and filling. Oh, and their tiramisu in heavenly. I would recommend going for lunch, when it wouldn't be so crowded.
