Summer Days
Most years in Scotland consist of two seasons - spring and then winter, with sometimes a few days of autumn in between. This year however, we skipped spring altogether, instead transitioning from a chilly end of winter directly to mild summer days. All in the space of about a week.
Being the eager photographer that I am, I grabbed my camera as soon as the sun was out, and snapped these photos around mid-day while my sister sunbathed in a deck chair. (Not to worry, I joined her later.)

I am not lying when I say the sun was actually hot. After months - literally - of freezing temperatures and biting winds, it felt so, so good.
I even got the teeniest bit burnt. :)
