Sunrise on the Pier

This morning, extremist me woke up at five o'clock so I could go out and grab some photos of the sunrise. This was my first time documenting the sun's awakening, and it was a very pleasurable experience. Here are a few of my favourite shots from the session:

I also made my first attempt at using slow shutter speed on water, and was reasonably pleased with the result:

All in all, it was a pretty good start to the day; there's nothing quite like waking up with (or before) the sun.
